Editorial Policy

Our editorial policy explains how Indian Web Expert chooses, researches, writes and updates content.

Reader-first approach

We publish articles because they answer a real reader question, not simply because a keyword exists. Headlines should accurately describe the article. We avoid fake urgency, misleading promises and claims that cannot be supported.

Research and sources

For product features, policies, public rules and online services, we prefer official documentation and first-party sources. Reliable secondary sources may be used when they add useful context. Sensitive or fast-changing claims should be checked more carefully before publication.

Originality

Our articles should add original explanation, structure, examples, screenshots, testing or context. We do not publish copied articles or lightly reword another publisher’s work.

AI-assisted work

Technology may be used to assist with research organization, drafting, proofreading or formatting. It is not a substitute for editorial review. Articles should be checked for factual accuracy, usefulness, originality and misleading statements before publication.

Health and other sensitive topics

Health content is kept informational, avoids diagnosis and should rely on credible sources. Where a qualified professional review is genuinely completed, the reviewer may be identified. We do not display fabricated expert credentials.

Commercial independence

Advertising, sponsorships and affiliate relationships should not determine our factual conclusions. Commercial relationships, when relevant to an article, should be disclosed clearly.
